Knaves Ash Stables are located between Totnes and Newton Abbot in Devon. The lush, rolling pastures and temperate climate provides an ideal environment for the rearing and conditioning of thoroughbreds. Our modern and well-maintained facilities can cater for 17 racehorses in training. This select number ensures that every horse in our care is fit and healthy and the benefits have proved to be invaluable when our horses reach the racetrack.

Purpose-built facilities include a light and airy 17 box American barn. Each stable has an open window that allows horses to look out over the Devon countryside. The Claydon horsewalker, arena and turn-out paddocks are all set in elegant landscaped grounds.

The private 6f all weather gallop and schooling grounds are located a 20 minute ride away through the Devon lanes which provides an ideal warm-up/down for horses in training and a refreshing start and finish to their daily work.

When you enter the barn you are greeted by content horses. This atmosphere awaits all our owners – whom we encourage to visit whenever they can.
